The Arizona Department of Public Safety Licensing & Regulatory Bureau will host the 2018 Conference of the International Association of Security and Investigative Regulators Oct. 24-26 (Oct. 23 Board meeting) in stunning Scottsdale, the Southwest’s premier resort destination set amidst the lush Sonoran Desert landscape.
Our 2018 venue will be The Saguaro (https://thesaguaro.com/scottsdale/), the landmark hotel in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. This Western-tinged area celebrates the city’s history while showcasing Arizona's best dining, shopping, art and nightlife – all in easy walking distance from the hotel. The Saguaro features seamless indoor-outdoor event spaces so all can enjoy the comfortable daytime temperatures in the 80s and gather around a fireplace or fire pit for cooler evenings in the 60s.
A block of rooms has been set aside for IASIR at a rate of $159 per night for single or double occupancy, $179 for triple occupancy and $199 for a quad. Rooms will be available at this discounted rate three days prior to the conference as well as three days after, based on room availability. (If additional room nights are not available through the reservation line or website, please contact Sales Coordinator Sarah Wilson at 480/385-4800 or firstname.lastname@example.org.)
To make reservations, call the hotel at 480/308-1100 and identify yourself as an IASIR Conference participant, or make reservations online at 201810IAS. To receive the special rate, reservations must be made by Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, PHX, is just 9 miles from the hotel and has direct flights from most destinations. There is taxi and Uber/Lyft service from the airport, plus The Saguaro offers complimentary valet and self-parking (one vehicle per reservation).
